Join the Schmidt Trio for an evening of music exploring identity through sound. Prisms of Being brings together works that reflect individuality in both voice and composition, and how expression evolves across time and culture.
This program will feature D’un matin de printemps by Lili Boulanger, Piano Trio No. 2, Op. 76 by Joaquín Turina, Piano Trio No. 1, Op. 63 by Robert Schumann, and our newest Cultural Canvas collaboration, Baby Blue by Bea Carr.

Pieces New York’s Never Heard Us Play
The evening features original works by Miu Sato, Katie Forbes, and Malka Bobrove, alongside Beethoven’s Piano Trio No. 1, bringing contemporary voices and classical repertoire into conversation.
This concert also supports the Trio’s ongoing collaborative projects, including commissioning new works and presenting community events throughout the year
